Remember that the daylight comes in waves in its own way. Remember in the darkness to be brave in your own way. Hope grows ever lonely. Holy ghosts will flood into my memories of better days. I’ll show you the forest, for the trees when the fog has lifted. Follow the light to guide your way out from the walls you mend behind.

Gold Rust 03:57
Not all paths lead the same way. If we never met that day, where would we be now, if we never found our touch? We won’t bend or break. It’s no surprise that love’s what it takes for us to shine. I know true love will guide us. Bloom amidst the rust. If true love is pure gold, I know that rust can’t touch us. Take my hand and down we go. Plant our feet where the garden grows.

Chainlink 03:38
I could not let go of the memories that always got me by. This life is not exactly what I thought that it would be, it cuts so deep.Nostalgia paints a bitter picture of what I need leaving me. Youthful glow fading fast. The antiquity of what I could be, cuts so deep. My history leaving me, it’s what I need. The slow decay of flowers through the chainlink.
4.
Just a touch, would be too much, when your mind is spinning round and round. So please don’t worry, because your eyes speak your thoughts out loud, and it’s deafening, that symphony of sympathy, but we’re still listening while hanging our heads. Hanging our heads when we couldn’t see that’s just the way we’re expected to be. Bury yourself down deep below the ground. Just a taste to erase the light shining bright through the clouds.
5.
Mind fades to gray. A body weightless sways. Dreaming. Tiny orange bottle. You fell down to the bottom by dancing with the white pills found beneath the cotton. You’re weary, white teeth. That comfort, don’t trust it. Dark sun is shining. Black clouds are chasing me. Sirens are singing, “You missed your triple cherries.” Now injury’s calling. Demons under cotton. Swallow me, I’m caught in. It all goes down the same.
6.
How does this story end? Do I want to know? Is that all she wrote? Is this what we were promised? Is this the good life? Dug up from below, that broken crown. That bloodied halo, that you found. How will we make it out? Is that all we wrote? How much time has passed? Life going by too fast. Birds in a row. Always doing what we’re told. At the end of our rope, it’s all that we know.

January Song 03:33
Face down in the basement. Reaching blindly to see that there’s a light overhead that shines a little too bright. Pull that thin dark thread to make it alright and drift away to that dormant place. Sleepwalking outside my bedroom window. I am almost over it. So over it. Don’t follow your footing. It’s lost all its meaning. I’ll watch you fall so slow. Just leave my head alone. Face down in the basement. Reaching blindly to drift away.
8.
Whisper 03:23
I’ll believe it when I see it. Believe it when I feel it. Believe it when I feel it too. Your whispers. Settle down. Simmer out. Nothing to talk about. Open your mouth, still nothing comes out but whispers. I can’t let go of the feeling. The feeling of believing.
9.
Somewhere onward, somewhere in bloom. Memories make imperfect pictures. I know better than to dwell on and on and on, as I come undone. Broken frames of who we were. Anywhere else, somewhere in bloom. Another life, I’m in bloom. Some other sun, a different moon. If I could take back all the times I wasted my life, would I be alright?
10.
Newbury St. 03:32
I’ve been running for so long. Trying to pretend that distance would solve the me I’d lost. I’ve been making final amends and leaving all my colors out to dry. We’ll never fade away. We’re always misplacing our regrets and fumble with the life we lead and won’t accept. A dream, Newbury St. Will you lead back to me? I’ve been trying my hardest to make these colors last, but those who shine the brightest burn out twice as fast.
